FIDS Mantis is our own, fully rugged and one of the markets most robust and powerful Tablet PC´s for professional users in the field. Developed to withstand the harshest environmental conditions without compromises and meet the standards for IP65 and MIL-STD-810G. Hardwearing magnesium chassis that can handle powerfully rain, dust, high and low operating temperatures. With the FIDS Mantis you also can customize made your field computer to your needs and purposes.

The Mantis comes with a 10.4” XGA (1024x768) sunlight readable and 10-fingers sensitive, resistive multi touch display and Dual Mode with Active pen as option, that make this unit to one of the most innovative and sharpest displays in all angels on the market.

FIDS Mantis comes as standard with the 3:rd generation (Ivy Bridge) Intel Core i5 processor with its power and Super-High capacity batteries that provides you up to 10 hours of working time in a single charge with the Hot Swappable batteries.

The unit have built-in I/O-ports with up to 2x USB 3.0, 1x mini-USB 2.0, 1x RS232, 1x RJ45, Audio-out, Docking connector and an RF-switch to external WWAN- and GPS-antenna. With wireless and embedded communication tools the flexibility increased even further. The FIDS Mantis offers with among others, 5.0MP and 1.3MP cameras, WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Gobi 3000 or LTE WWAN. A barcode reader (1D or 1D/2D), UHF RFID, Smart card reader and SD-card slot can be ordered as optional.
