The new ARMOR X10mg Rugged Tablet is the latest in a long line of rugged computers from DRS Technologies. Designed for mobile workforces, it combines industry-leading durability and reliability with new mobility enhancements. The ARMOR X10mg promises amazing outdoor viewability with an exclusive bonded transflective, energy efficient 10.4ā€¯ LCD display. This new technology utilizes external light, allowing the backlight to turn down extending battery life. The high intensity screen is standard as a transmissive display with a passive touch or active digitizer pen input.
To reduce weight and maintain durability, the ARMOR X10mg is made of an all new magnesium alloy. This light chassis is equipped with ShutOutā„¢ technology, providing IP 66 certified protection while still offering hot-swappable, no-tool battery access.
Inside, the user-replaceable 2.5ā€¯ hard drive, integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and optional GPS provide data protection and connectivity. Meanwhile, the internal OEM FlexSpaceā„¢ and protected Type III PCMCIA slot offer customization for any application.
Manufactured and certified to MIL-STD-810F standards, the ARMOR X10mg is tested for drop-shock, moisture, dust, vibration resistance, temperature and other extreme conditions. Itā€™s the ideal solution for workforces that need the best in protection, efficiency and portability
