The semi-rugged FIDS Chara has been developed to meet the requirements of professionals in areas like transportation, security, public safety and construction.
Tested for shock and vibration to the MIL-STD-810G Standard the FIDS Chara is a very affordable
choice among semi-rugged laptops. The chassis is made of magnesium alloy which provides the ultimate in protection to the internal components. FIDS Chara has an IP53 rating and has a wide operating temperature range.
The keyboard is water proof and can be choosen with backlit-function. The screen is processed with
Anti Glare Coating Glass, to give a clear readability without disturbing reflexes.
LTE/WWAN, WiFi, LAN, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS give safe communication opprtunities, even in far away places. Many of the functions have quick setting buttons. Biometric Fingerprint Scanner and SmartCard Reader keep unauthorized hands and eyes off.
A Stealth Mode button enables all sounds and emitting lights to be turned off while all programmes continue to run in the background.The Quick Release function saves, shuts down all data and releases the hard drive. In only a few seconds, all information can instantly be removed and brought in safety.
