FIDS Tego
Raging seas, hot deserts, as well as rugged or freezing terrains. The brand new MIL–STD 810G, IP65-rated FIDS Tego is ready for those challenges. The chassis is made of lightweight magnesium alloy and it can operate at 15,000 feet in the air and at the extreme temperatures of -30C to +60C. A Secured Dual Battery Lock prevents the battery from disengaging during vigorous vibrations. Hot Swap-functions make battery changes fast and with no power down time. A second battery can further extend the battery life from 13.5 hours to 19 hours. The primary 9-cell Smart Battery can be charged to 90% of capacity in 3 hours.
The 1024 x 768" 1050 nits display has a sunlight readable resistive touch panel, which can be
operated with gloves. WWAN, WLAN, LAN, Bluetooth, GPS and Antennas give seamless connectivity.
The illuminated keyboard has an adjustable brightness.
The unique Stealth mode makes it possible to shut down all sounds and emitting lights but keep programmes running in the background. In an unexpected situation, the Quick Release HDD allows the disk drive to be ejected in less than five seconds. The biometric Fingerprint scanner keeps unauthorized hands off.
