Motion F5m is the third generation of the rugged Motion tablet PC series from Forest it Design.
Motion F5m Tablet PC is a real crossover, that combines exceptional high performance, flexibility, ergonomics and durability with it´s sleek design and light weight. Motion F5m is the ideal field computer.
Choose between a powerful Intel® Core i7 vPro, i5 or an i3 processor. Additionally, the Motion F5m comes with 4/8/16GB SSD and 64/128/256GB SED. This satisfies the user's needs in the toughest environments. This professional field computer is equipped with a Hot-Swappable battery which makes it possible to replace the battery without turning off the computer. The computer is optimized for Windows® 8 Professional, but is also available with Windows® 7 Ultimate. The unit's programmable Quick-setting buttons and LED light display to see its battery strength are just some clever details for the fieldwork.
Motion F5m has a large 10.4 "XGA TFT AFFS+ display with Corning® Gorilla® Glass as standard to withstand hard shocks and hits. The sensitive 10-point touch display with Projective Capacitive dual-touch will allow you to both operate with a pen and a finger. With the View Anywhere® technology you get one of the best sunlight displays in our range and on the market and gives you a clearly view in the entire 180 degrees angle of direct sunlight.
Motion F5m is a rugged tablet PC that is fully sealed, IP54 rated and meets the standards of MIL-STD-810G. Robust, handle rain, dust and high and low operating temperatures.
The F5m has integrated Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, USB 3.0 and a dock connector for docking stations or expansion modules such as SmartCard readers. Motion F5m is also available with Gobi 5000 which means embedded 4G LTE WWAN and a GPS with corrections from SBAS (WAAS / EGNOS / MSAS). In addition, options for built-in 8.0MP camera, 2MP Webcam and Barcode Scanner (1D/2D).
